Overview: Golf du Chambon-sur-Lignon is a highland course at the foot of Mont Mézenc and the Suc du Lizieux. Michel Gayon’s design uses the wooded, rolling site to create a course of 5,981 metres and par 72, with elevation change and uneven lies making the mountain setting part of the challenge.
Did You Know? The course is known locally as a golf played around 1,000 metres above sea level. Its restrained irrigation approach, which focuses on a small area even in dry periods, reflects the club’s close relationship with the highland environment.
