Overview: Les Bruyères at Golf des Volcans is an open, heathery course among pines and birches in the Parc naturel régional des Volcans d’Auvergne. The official card gives it 18 holes, par 72 and 6,495 metres from the black tees, with generous fairways, natural hazards and multi-level greens providing the main strategic vocabulary.
Did You Know? The course project began in 1981 under Lucien Roux, and the first nine holes opened in 1984 before the facility developed into its current form. Its name and setting are inseparable from the volcanic landscape around Orcines.
