Overview: Saint Endréol is a resort course in Provence, laid out around the Endre river beneath the Rocher de Roquebrune. The routing moves through dry garrigue, mature oaks, umbrella pines, water features and rolling ground, creating a sequence that changes character from hole to hole. The terrain is hilly enough to influence club selection and stance, while the river and the signature downhill approach at the 13th provide the course’s clearest strategic landmarks.
History: Michel Gayon designed the 18-hole course, which the operator dates to an inauguration in August 1992. Saint Endréol was developed as part of a larger golf and hospitality domain, but the course remains closely tied to the natural corridor of the Endre and the Provençal landscape. Later biodiversity work and infrastructure improvements have sought to preserve the wooded and water-rich character of the original routing.
Did You Know? The resort’s course description identifies the 13th as a signature hole that drops toward a green beside a water feature. The same operator reference lists the layout at par 72 and 5,789 metres, approximately 6,325 yards, and notes that the course is bordered by veteran oaks and umbrella pines.
