Overview: Gap-Bayard occupies a high plateau above Gap, where mountain weather, open grassland and the surrounding alpine ridges shape the round. The course is exposed enough for wind and temperature to matter, while the broad landscape gives the holes a spacious character that is unusual for a mountain facility.
Did You Know? The plateau course was inaugurated on 6 July 1989 after construction began in 1987. Bayard is also known for the natural landscape around the golf, including a biodiversity programme and the educational trail of the Azuré.
