Overview: Golf Course Kitzbüheler Alpen Westendorf is a modern 18-hole championship layout situated on a sun-drenched plateau in the heart of the Tyrolean mountains. Designed by Diethard Fahrenleitner and opened in 2014, the course is a flat, easily walkable parkland track set within a 64-hectare natural landscape. It is known for its "Scandinavian flair," characterized by its tranquil, quiet setting away from main tourist routes and its emphasis on refined, technical strategy through narrow fairways and complex doglegs.
History: As one of the most recently developed courses in the Kitzbühel region, Westendorf was built to the highest modern standards. In 2015, just one year after opening, it was awarded a Four Star Superior rating by the Federal Association for Golf Courses, and it has since become a member of the elite "Leading Golf Courses" of Austria. The project represents a successful integration of a high-end sporting facility with a protected natural environment, offering a secluded and premier golfing experience.
Did You Know? The course's signature clubhouse features an expansive terrace with some of the most comprehensive panoramic views of the Brixen Valley? With its blend of sporting challenge and serene Tyrolean mountain scenery, Westendorf offers a high-fidelity round that feels both modern and deeply integrated into the Alpine landscape, making it a key destination for serious golfers visiting the region.
