Overview: Golf Club of the Everglades is an 18-hole Rees Jones design on open Southwest Florida terrain near Naples. Native grasses, broad fairways, sculpted bunkers and lakes give the course a links-style character, with wind and approach angles shaping the strategy as much as length.
History: Rees Jones's design firm identifies the original design as dating from 2000 and records a Jones redesign in 2015. The redesign included relocated holes, rebuilt bunkers, new grassing and reshaped greens as the property changed around the course.
Did You Know? The course's open setting is deliberately part of its architecture: native grasses, expansive lakes and sculpted bunkers create playing lines that change noticeably with the wind.
