Overview: Le Breuil at Golf Club du Gouverneur is a parkland course located north of Lyon. The layout features wide fairways, large water hazards, and subtly contoured greens that require precise positioning from the tee.
History: Designed by Didier Fruchet and opened in 1992, the course was developed on the historic estate of the Château du Breuil. The layout has hosted professional tournaments on the Challenge Tour.
Did You Know? The course is routed around historic ponds that were originally used for fish farming in the Dombes region since the Middle Ages. These water hazards now guard several green complexes on the back nine.
