Overview: The New Course at Prosper Golf Resort Čeladná is a spectacular 18-hole championship layout situated at the foot of the Beskydy Mountains. Designed by Spanish legend Miguel Ángel Jiménez and opened in 2004, the course features a unique "dual-character" layout: the front nine is a flatter, links-style challenge with narrow fairways and strategic water hazards, while the back nine transitions into rugged mountain terrain with dramatic ravines and significant elevation changes.
History: Prosper Golf Resort was established in 2001 and quickly became the premier golf destination in the Czech Republic, largely due to its partnership with Jiménez, who remains the resort's patron. The New Course was added to expand the facility into a 36-hole complex capable of hosting major international events. From 2009 to 2011, the resort hosted the European Tour's Czech Open, solidifying its status as a world-class competitive site in Central Europe.
Did You Know? The resort's design was heavily influenced by Jiménez's own playing style, emphasizing technical shot-making and creativity over raw distance? With its luxury Miura Hotel and stunning Alpine vistas, the New Course at Čeladná provides a high-fidelity resort experience that rivals the finest mountain courses in Europe, offering a round that is as visually stunning as it is strategically demanding.
