Overview: The Links 18 is the main full-length routing at Glenmore Heritage Valley Golf Club in Mulgoa, western Sydney. It uses holes 1–18 and plays to par 72 from the blue tees, with a listed length of 6,399 metres. The course sits at the foot of the Blue Mountains and combines wide fairways, water hazards and gently changing ground with a links-style presentation. The long sixth hole is one of the demanding moments of the round, while the holes near the clubhouse provide a clear sense of the historic Mulgoa Valley setting.
History: Glenmore is more than a modern golf estate: the Mulgoa property has heritage associations and a golf history reaching back to the early twentieth century. The current club offers 27 holes, with the Links 18 occupying the first two nines and the Valley 18 using a different combination. That structure lets the club serve everyday public golf while preserving the identity of a property that has long been used for recreation and hospitality.
Did You Know? Golf NSW calls Glenmore one of Sydney’s few 27-hole facilities, but the Links 18 is a conventional par-72 round on its own. The club’s scorecard also shows a 589-metre blue-tee sixth, a hole whose length helps explain why this is the most demanding of Glenmore’s named combinations.
