Overview: GlenArbor Golf Club is a private Gary Player course in Bedford Hills, New York, routed through woodland, wetlands, natural grades, and rolling Westchester terrain. The par-72 course approaches 7,000 yards from the Player tees, but its core challenge is precision: fairway angles, changing lies, and expansive greens require controlled shot-making.
History: The course opened in 2001 on the former White Estate. Grant Gregory’s development brought Gary Player into the project, and the clubhouse followed in 2003 after the course had operated from temporary buildings during its early years. Player’s design remains the center of the club’s identity.
Did You Know? Gary Player has referred to GlenArbor as his masterpiece. The course’s published design description explains why, pointing to the way woodland, wetlands, and elevation changes were preserved rather than flattened into a uniform development site.
