Overview: Glen Eagle Golf & Country Club in Naples is a private 18-hole, par-70 course listed at about 5,603 yards. The original Mark McCumber design uses lakes, palms, mature vegetation, and South Florida parkland, with later improvement input from Gordon Lewis.
History: The course opened in 1991 as a public course under the Embassy Woods Golf and Country Club name. The property became Glen Eagle in 1998, and homeowners assumed full ownership and control of the club in 2004.
Did You Know? The property began as a private hunting and fishing retreat before becoming a planned golf community, giving the current course a clear before-and-after landscape history.
