Overview: Ginoza Country Club presents 18 holes with a par of 72 on Okinawa’s central east coast, where the fairways look towards the Pacific and the terrain moves gently across the site. The official course page gives a total of 6,558 yards. Its appeal is the balance between open sea-facing views and a strategic, polished routing, with the surrounding subtropical landscape providing colour without overwhelming the playing lines.
History: Ginoza opened on December 1, 2004, and the operator credits Yoshihiko Komuro as architect. The club’s current course material presents the layout as both elegant and strategic, a useful description of a course that was developed for resort-region golf but still depends on placement and controlled approaches.
Did You Know? The two nines are not identical in length: the published scorecard gives 3,170 yards for the front nine and 3,388 for the back nine. That extra distance arrives late in the round, so the inward half asks the player to keep a little more precision after the opening holes have already established the Pacific setting.
