Overview: Around forty minutes from Chiang Mai in Muang Lamphun, Gassan Panorama Golf Club circles a large lake over 18 holes. Gassan's current course page gives a 7,072-yard layout with waterside bunkers, mountain views and extensive greenery. The routing is unusual in its repeated relationship with the lake: water is not confined to one signature hole but helps define the visual rhythm of the round. The clubhouse is a large resort-style building overlooking the lake and mountains, reinforcing the course's destination character.
History: The course first opened in November 2006 and later reopened in 2017 under the Gassan Panorama name after a period of closure and redevelopment. That is why older course records and current operator pages can show different names and yardage totals. The present identity is the reopened Gassan Panorama routing, operated as one of three 18-hole Gassan courses in Lamphun. The profile keeps the first opening year visible while making the 2017 relaunch part of the course's history.
Did You Know? Gassan Panorama is unusual for its par structure: the operator describes a routing with no par-five holes and a very long par-six hole measuring 666 yards from the back tees. That feature is more than a novelty. It changes how the player thinks about the long holes and helps distinguish Panorama from the other Gassan layouts in the same regional portfolio.
