Overview: Located in the rolling hills of Lombardy near Lake Garda, Italy, the Bianco Course at Gardagolf Country Club is an 18-hole parkland course designed by Piero Mancinelli. Winding through olive groves, historic vineyards, and mature cypress forests, the layout features significant elevation changes and strategically positioned water hazards. The course demands accurate ball placement off the tee and disciplined iron play to navigate the rolling hillsides and reach the well-defended green complexes.
History: Opened in 1986, Gardagolf was developed with the goal of creating a premier competitive resort in the Garda region. Mancinelli utilized the diverse hilly terrain to design a highly playable and strategic course. The club has hosted the prestigious Italian Open on the European Tour multiple times, including the 1997 and 2003 tournaments.
Did You Know? The course is framed by the historic ruins of the Soiano Castle, which sits high on a rocky ridge overlooking the valley. Players can enjoy views of the castle and the pristine waters of Lake Garda from several elevated greens.
