Overview: Located in Pieve Emanuele, just south of Milan, the Blu and Giallo nines at Castello Di Tolcinasco form a modern, technical parkland course. Designed by Arnold Palmer, the layout is routed around a historic 16th-century castle. The flat terrain is defined by wide fairways, numerous deep bunkers, and substantial water hazards that protect the landing areas and green complexes.
History: Opened in 1993, the course was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay to create a world-class championship venue in northern Italy. The project involved constructing lakes and moving earth to add contour to the flat agricultural plains. The course has since hosted the Italian Open on multiple occasions, establishing its reputation as a premier competitive test.
Did You Know? The course is built around the Castello di Tolcinasco, a beautifully preserved 16th-century fortified agricultural estate, which now serves as the club's spectacular clubhouse and social center.
