Overview: Fort Lauderdale Country Club’s North Course is a private par-72 layout listed at 6,594 yards after a Kipp Schulties redesign. The course occupies part of the club’s 288 acres of forested parkland and uses lakes, bunkers, trees, and contoured greens to frame the round.
History: The club was established in 1926 and is described by the operator as Broward County’s oldest private country club. Kipp Schulties prepared a North Course master plan in 2006, with the renovated course later reopening as a modern interpretation of the historic property.
Did You Know? The North scorecard’s seventeenth stretches to 602 yards from the black tees, making it the club’s longest hole and a demanding three-shot par five for many players.
