Overview: Foxfire Red/Silver combines two of the Naples club’s three nines into an 18-hole private course. The longest official tee measures 6,252 yards, and the par-72 routing mixes water-lined doglegs, elevated greens, deep bunkers, and mounding.
History: Arthur Hills designed the original Foxfire course, which opened in 1985. The Red and Silver nines became part of the three-combination format after Foxfire added its extra nine in 1995; later improvement work included Drew Rogers’s involvement.
Did You Know? Foxfire’s official hole notes describe Red 3 as a long dogleg with water along the entire left side, a useful example of how the Red/Silver card builds risk into its landing zones.
