Overview: Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, Missouri is a private course set among dense deciduous forests west of St. Louis. Gary Kern's original design uses tight driving corridors, protective bunkering, rows of trees and demanding green complexes, while the current renovation is led by Art Schaupeter.
History: David Ault developed Fox Run in 1993 on 281 acres of farmland. After Ault's death in 2022, owner Jeff Budrovich began a major renovation with Schaupeter, aimed at expanding playing corridors and modernizing the green and bunker complexes.
Did You Know? Fox Run hosted the 2001 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship and has also hosted the St. Louis Metropolitan Amateur.
