Overview: Founders South/West pairs one of Plantation Bay’s established Founders nines with the newer West nine in Ormond Beach. The property’s official description highlights lakes, trees, a large private park, undulating greens, and the strategic use of natural and man-made hazards.
History: West was formerly known as the Westlake course and is identified by Plantation Bay as the newest of the three Founders nines. The community’s rebranding brought West together with the former Club de Bonmont North and South nines under the Founders name.
Did You Know? The West nine has its own black-tee length of 3,451 yards, while Plantation Bay publishes 7,204 yards for the separate North/South 18. A combined South/West yardage is not published in the reviewed official material.
