Forest Dunes (The Loop (Black))

Overview: The Black Course at The Loop is a links-style course located in Roscommon. Winding through sand dunes and pine trees, the layout is reversible and is played in a clockwise direction on alternate days.

History: Designed by Tom Doak and opened in 2016, the course shares all eighteen greens with the counter-clockwise Red Course, utilizing modern design techniques to function in both directions.

Did You Know? The course has no formal rough, featuring wide fairways that merge directly into native sand wastes and fescue grasses.
