Forest Creek Golf Club (North)

Overview: Forest Creek's North Course is the more rugged of the club's two Tom Fazio layouts in Pinehurst. It runs through pine-barrens terrain with a leaner, more naturalistic feel than the South Course, using sandy ground, pine corridors and open strategic angles to frame the round. It is a private residential-club course.

History: The North Course was developed after Forest Creek's South Course and opened in 2005, nearly a decade after the South opened. The club describes both layouts as Tom Fazio designs on a large Sandhills property, while the North's own course page emphasizes its distinct terrain and later place in the development.

Did You Know? Forest Creek is a two-course Fazio setting, not a single course with a North loop. Keeping the North and South routings separate matters when comparing opening dates, yardages and ranking references, because the North was the later addition.
