Overview: Located in a spectacular natural valley just ten minutes from Alicante, Font del Llop Golf Resort is a creative and technical masterpiece designed by the duo of Blake Stirling and Marco Martín. Opened in 2010, the 18-hole, par-72 course is celebrated for its unique "American-meets-Scottish" design philosophy, featuring bold moulding and a rhythmic, rolling inland topography. The routing is centered around a small, meandering river that interconnects five strategic lakes, creating a variety of high-stakes water hazards that demand precision and confidence. Surrounded by vineyards, almond trees, and ancient olive groves, the course offers a serene but rigorous test of strategy where each hole possesses a distinct personality and challenges players of all skill levels.
Did You Know? The course is part of a larger ecological project aimed at preserving the traditional agricultural landscape of the Vinalopó valley while providing a world-class sporting venue. Its modern clubhouse is perched at the highest point of the property, offering a panoramic terrace that provides a bird’s-eye view of the entire interconnected river system and the final, dramatic stretch of the back nine, making it one of the most scenic social hubs in the Alicante region.
