Overview: Flora Ville Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole Nick Faldo course in Bang Khu Wat, Pathum Thani, immediately north of Bangkok. The current course record gives par 72 and 6,747 yards. Water features and mature trees shape the round, while doglegs and relatively small, firm greens reward accuracy and planning. The official operator describes lakes as a defining part of the strategy, with the correct line and club often more important than attacking every hole. Its urban-edge location makes Flora Ville a practical Bangkok-area round, but the greenery, marsh and established trees give it a quieter woodland identity once play begins.
History: Current course records place the opening in 1998 and credit Nick Faldo. Some older golf guides give 1997, so the profile uses the newer 1998 record rather than hiding the discrepancy. The clubhouse was rebuilt and reopened in 2018, a documented later improvement that changed the arrival experience without changing the course's Faldo identity. Flora Ville's history is therefore a combination of a late-1990s course and a more recent facility renewal within the Bangkok golf market.
Did You Know? Flora Ville finishes with a par-five 18th after a par-three 17th, an unusual closing sequence compared with the more common par-four finish. The official course descriptions also call out water around the final hole, so the round ends with a chance to attack that is still governed by precise positioning.
