Overview: Fircrest Golf Club is a private A. Vernon Macan parkland course in Fircrest, Washington, with wooded and rolling terrain guiding the 6,825-yard par-71 routing. The layout remains close to its original landform, using natural movement and tree-lined corridors rather than artificial drama.
History: Fircrest was incorporated in 1923 and opened its first nine-hole unit in July 1924, with the second nine following in 1925. Macan designed the course, William Tucker and Son built it, and Calvert Winsborough served as landscape architect.
Did You Know? Fircrest hosted the Tacoma Open on the PGA Tour in both 1945 and 1948.
