Overview: Finna Golf & Country Club is a highland resort course in Prigen, Pasuruan Regency, East Java, at the foot of Mount Arjuno. The 18-hole, par-72 layout was designed by Peter Thomson with Michael Wolveridge and Ross Perrett and measures about 6,345 metres, or approximately 6,939 yards. At roughly 500 to 700 metres above sea level, the course uses the natural rise and fall of the plateau, with fairways, bunkers and water hazards arranged for positional play. The wider property includes cottages, restaurants, a spa and practice facilities, making it a destination rather than a city-only round.
History: Finna opened on 11 November 1993 and has operated as a golf-and-stay venue near the Surabaya and Malang travel markets. The current course profile keeps the opening date separate from later resort and course-service improvements. Finna's booking site confirms an active golf operation at the Prigen address, while current course material continues to identify the Thomson, Wolveridge and Perrett design team. The highland setting has remained central to the club's identity since the beginning.
Did You Know? Three volcanic peaks, Arjuno, Welirang and Ringgit, form the visual frame for the round. Finna's published course information also identifies Bermuda grass on the fairways and Tifdwarf on the greens, a useful detail for understanding how the course is maintained in a wet tropical highland climate. The changing elevation means that a comfortable mountain setting does not remove the need to judge lies and club selection carefully.
