Fiddlesticks Country Club (Long Mean)

Overview: Long Mean is Fiddlesticks Country Club’s longer Fort Myers championship course, a Ron Garl design stretching about 7,077 yards at par 72. Waste bunkers, lakes, open fairways, and demanding green approaches give the route a tournament-ready profile.

History: The course opened in the early 1980s, with the USGA recording 1982 and current club material using 1983 for the Fiddlesticks courses. It later hosted major amateur events, including the 2010 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur and the 2022 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur.

Did You Know? Long Mean was the first Fiddlesticks course to host a USGA championship, and the 2010 event marked the club’s first national championship venue.
