Overview: Loch Ness is one of Fiddlesticks Country Club’s two private championship layouts in Fort Myers. The par-72 course is listed at about 6,243 yards and is framed by lakes, inlets, native planting, and strategic shot-making demands.
History: The course was originally opened in 1983 as The Wee Friendly, one of two Ron Garl designs at Fiddlesticks. Kipp Schulties led an extensive 2018 renovation that created new lakes and inlets and inspired the Loch Ness name.
Did You Know? The course’s present name is a design-history clue: Loch Ness replaced the old Wee Friendly identity after the 2018 renovation, while the underlying Ron Garl routing remained central to the club’s story.
