Overview: Perched on the slopes of Corrin Hill, Fermoy Golf Club is a scenic and established parkland-heathland course. Originally founded as a garrison club in 1893 and moved to its current site in 1972, the layout was designed by the renowned John Harris. The course is celebrated for its "tricky" greens and spectacular panoramic views across the Blackwater Valley. Its elevated position and mature woodland setting provide a peaceful and technically engaging round that has earned it a reputation as one of the best "hidden gems" in County Cork.
Did You Know? Fermoy was one of the first clubs formed in Ireland, largely due to the town's history as a major British military garrison. The club moved to its hilltop location to escape the expanding urban area, and today it is known for its exceptional natural drainage and "mountain golf" feel, having recently undergone major improvements to its irrigation and tee complexes.
