Overview: Located near Eskilstrup on the island of Falster, Denmark, Falster Golf Klub is an 18-hole woodland course. Winding through dense, mature pine and spruce forests, the layout is characterized by tight, tree-lined fairways, subtle elevation changes, and small, well-defended putting surfaces. The course demands precise ball placement off the tee and disciplined iron play to navigate the narrow forest corridors and numerous natural streams.
History: Founded in the early 1990s, the course was built to establish a premier competitive venue in the Zealand region. The layout was carefully integrated into the existing forest, minimizing earth movement to preserve the natural woodlands. The club has maintained a low-profile, highly natural character over the decades.
Did You Know? The course is built on a massive, natural sandy subsoil that ensures excellent drainage, allowing the fairways to remain firm and playable year-round, despite the dense surrounding forest canopy.
