Overview: Falkenberg's 18-hole course carries the character of the Halland coast, where the seaside origin of the club meets the later inland development at Skrea. The current par-72 layout gives the course a broad historic footprint rather than a single designer's signature.
History: Falkenbergs Golfklubb was founded in 1949. Douglas Brasier laid out the original seaside nine, Rafael Sundblom laid out a nine-hole course at Skrea in 1961, and Nils Sköld completed the 18-hole course in 1968; later expansion work involved Jan Sederholm.
Did You Know? The club's history links the current course to two very different landscapes, an original seaside site and the later Skrea course that became the basis for today's 18 holes.
