Overview: The Kittocks course at Fairmont St Andrews is a spectacular clifftop layout that hugs the coastline of the Tay Estuary. Designed by Bruce Devlin and Gene Sarazen, the course is a "hybrid" of parkland and links, featuring large, undulating greens and dramatic carries over rocky ravines. The layout is famous for its stunning coastal views, which are visible from almost every hole, and its challenging finish along the cliffs.
Did You Know? The course was originally named "The Devlin" but was renamed Kittocks (after the Kittocks Den that runs through the course) to better reflect its local heritage. It features two double greens, a nod to the traditional architecture of the nearby Old Course in St Andrews.
