Overview: Located along the scenic Evjesund bay near Moss, Evje Golfpark is a premier championship parkland course designed by Jeremy Turner. Home to Moss & Rygge Golfklubb, the course features wide, rolling fairways that wind through mature forests before playing directly along the shoreline of the Oslo Fjord. The layout is exceptionally long and strategic, featuring massive, multi-tiered greens protected by bold, sand-faced bunkers and significant water hazards.
History: Opened in 2004, Evje Golfpark was built with the explicit goal of introducing a world-class, tournament-quality venue to southeastern Norway. Turner utilized the natural sandy loam soil and the diverse coastline to craft a course that quicky gained national recognition, playing host to several professional tournaments and establishing a reputation for outstanding conditioning.
Did You Know? The course is built on a historically significant estate where agricultural activity dates back to the Viking age, and the club has carefully preserved the natural heritage of the land while creating one of Norway's longest championship courses.
