Overview: Evendale Golf & Resort is an 18-hole public course in Cheongju, North Chungcheong, with par 72 and an official total of 6,568 metres, approximately 7,190 yards. The club presents the EVEN and DALE nines as a Dye Design Group layout shaped for Korean terrain, combining forested hills, clean fairway lines and a sequence of demanding approach shots. The current hole guide gives four tee distances on every hole and shows how the design changes from shorter positional holes to longer par fours and fives. Water, deep bunkers and sloping greens create the strategic questions, while the surrounding mountain setting supplies the calm, wooded atmosphere suggested by the name Evendale.
History: The club grand-opened as a private membership course in 2010. Its own introduction says that the property changed to public operation in 2016 as part of a wider effort to make the course more accessible while retaining the standards of its original design. Dye Design Group was commissioned to adapt its strategic approach to the local terrain, and the current operator continues to describe the course as a full 18-hole, par-72 facility. The date and access history are therefore kept distinct: 2010 marks the opening, while 2016 marks the public conversion.
Did You Know? The 18th hole on the DALE nine finishes beside a natural rock formation with a waterfall and a small natural cave near the green. The official hole guide treats those features as part of the hole's identity, giving the course a memorable geological finish.
