Evans Prairie Country Club (Egret/Killdeer)

Overview: Egret/Killdeer is an 18-hole combination at The Villages’ 27-hole Evans Prairie championship facility. The black-tee totals for the Egret and Killdeer nines add to 7,052 yards, with par 72 and target-golf features around the prairie and lake.

History: Evans Prairie opened in fall 2012 as a 27-hole Clifton, Ezell & Clifton project. The three nines, Egret, Killdeer, and Osprey, are scheduled in paired 18-hole combinations rather than as one fixed routing.

Did You Know? Killdeer’s eighth hole is built beside Evans Prairie Lake, where the water cuts inward to form a peninsula and makes the landing area especially strategic.
