Overview: Grove/Highland is one of the 18-hole combinations formed from Errol Estate’s three Joe Lee nines in Apopka. This route pairs the tree- and hill-heavy Grove with the scenic Highland nine, and the facility’s published combination cards play to par 72.
History: Errol Estate began as a 27-hole complex in the early 1970s, with the Lake, Grove, and Highland nines attributed to Joe Lee. The three nines can be combined in three different 18-hole routings, preserving a flexible club format.
Did You Know? The Grove nine is described as the toughest of the three, while Highland is noted for its views and stepped-up tee boxes. Their combination therefore changes the balance between accuracy demands and scenery.
