Enniscrone (Dunes)

Overview: Situated on the scenic coast of County Sligo, the Dunes course at Enniscrone is a traditional links routing designed by Eddie Hackett and later expanded by Donald Steel. The layout winds through massive, windswept sand dunes along the Moy River estuary and Killala Bay.

History: Founded in 1918, the club expanded from a modest 9-hole layout to a full 18-hole championship course in 1974 under Hackett's direction, later adding a third nine-hole loop in 1999.

Did You Know? The course features some of the tallest sand dunes in Ireland, which frame several fairways and greens, offering dramatic, amphitheater-like settings for the holes.
