The course has a sandy, open feel in places, then turns through more enclosed tree-lined ground, creating a contrast between broad strategic options and tighter approach angles.
Did You Know? The course opened in 1990 as Robert von Hagge’s first creation in Spain, with Rick Baril also associated with the Empordà designs. The resort now presents two courses and 36 holes, but the Old Course remains a distinct directory routing.
