Overview: Långe Jan is Ekerum's original 18-hole heathland course on Öland. Its broad setting allows the course to combine generous fairway landscapes with waste areas, shaped greens and the exposed character of the island.
History: Work on Ekerum's original 27-hole complex began in 1988 and Långe Jan was ceremonially inaugurated in 1990. Later hole redistribution and the 2014 renovation by Christian Lundin and the county administration introduced new waste areas and rebuilt holes 16 and 17.
Did You Know? The course is named Långe Jan, after Öland's famous lighthouse, linking the golf resort to one of the island's best-known landmarks.
