Overview: Edina’s private course consists of 18 holes and a par of 72, with gently rolling ground, tree-lined corridors, and subtle elevation changes.
History: The property began as the nine-hole Thorpe Country Club, which opened in 1923. Tom Bendelow designed the eighteen-hole course that opened in 1924, and Tom Lehman with Chris Brands led a major redesign in 2010 and 2011 while retaining the basic routing.
Did You Know? Edina has hosted a wide range of state and national competitions, including Trans-Miss championships, state opens, and multiple USGA qualifying events. Its tournament history is unusually broad for a private club course.
