East Lake Woodlands (South)

Overview: East Lake Woodlands South, now marketed within Ardea Country Club, is the more accommodating of the two Oldsmar 18-hole courses. The par-72 route is listed at 6,566 yards, with wide fairways, six tee positions, and renovated TifEagle greens.

History: The South layout belongs to the East Lake Woodlands complex attributed to Bruce Devlin, Robert von Hagge, and Tom Jackson. Records place the design in 1974, while the club’s history dates the opening of East Lake Woodlands to 1979.

Did You Know? Ardea’s current course page describes South as the inviting counterpart to North, using broad fairways and multiple tee positions to make the same championship property approachable for a wide range of playing abilities.
