Overview: The Greg Norman Course is one of four separate 18-hole layouts at Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club in General Trias, Cavite. It plays to par 72 and 7,123 yards from the gold tees, with carefully shaped fairways, verdant thickets and water displays forming the visual and strategic framework. Norman's design rewards a considered line from tee to green: distance helps, but the course repeatedly asks whether the next shot will be played from the correct side of the fairway and the correct tier of the putting surface.
History: Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club was organised in the 1990s as a large, multi-course development rather than a single routing. The club's official overview identifies Isao Aoki, Andy Dye, Nick Faldo and Greg Norman as the designers of its four championship courses. The Norman loop is therefore recorded separately from the club's 1996 organisational date; the sources reviewed do not establish a dependable opening year for this specific course.
Did You Know? The official hole guide shows how much variety is packed into the Norman routing. The short par 4s at holes 6 and 7 invite a positional decision, while the eighth is a short par 3 whose narrow green is pinched by bunkers and a pond. Farther on, the fifteenth climbs beside a ravine. Those contrasts are why the course can feel strategic even when the fairways look generous from the tee.
