Overview: Eagle Creek Country Club is a private Naples course with a Larry Packard design foundation, later enhanced by Ken Venturi and redesigned by Gordon Lewis. The 18-hole par-72 layout reaches about 7,114 yards and winds through cypress preserve and pine forest.
History: Construction began as Shamrock Country Club in 1980, and the course opened in 1983 after the Packard Design Group refined the layout. Ken Venturi then altered greens, bunkers, and tees, while Gordon Lewis led later renovation work, including the 2021 redesign.
Did You Know? Eagle Creek’s documented setting includes housing on only six holes, with the rest moving through preserve and pine areas. That is an unusually low residential footprint for a Naples community course.
