Dunmore East Golf Club

Overview: Perched on the cliffs overlooking the historic fishing village of Dunmore East, this course is one of the most scenic layouts in the Southeast of Ireland. Originally opened in 1992 and significantly redesigned in 2020 by the reGOLF team, the course is a technical and atmospheric parkland layout that is heavily influenced by its coastal position. Characterized by its narrow fairways and spectacular cliffside views across Waterford Harbour and the Celtic Sea, Dunmore East offers a peaceful and visually stunning round of golf.

Did You Know? The course is situated on land that has long been a focal point for the local community, and its redesign in 2020 focused on enhancing the natural biodiversity of the site. Golfers on the higher holes can often see the historic Hook Head Lighthouse across the water, the oldest operational lighthouse in the world, which has guided ships into the harbour for over 800 years.
