Overview: Druids Heath is the longer and more exposed companion to the world-famous Druids Glen. Designed by Pat Ruddy and opened in 2003, the "Heath" course offers a significantly different challenge, playing as a parkland-heathland hybrid with massive scale and framing. Characterized by its unyielding length, deep bunkers, and its exposure to the Wicklow elements, the layout is a visceral test of championship golf that prizes power and long iron play across its rolling, atmospheric fairways.
Did You Know? While Druids Glen is known for its lush color and floral displays, the Heath course is celebrated for its wilder, more rugged aesthetic. Pat Ruddy designed the course to be a "thinking man's" test, where the sheer scale of the holes often deceives the eye, requiring extreme precision on approach shots into massive, undulating greens.
