Overview: Known as the "Augusta of Europe," Druids Glen is a spectacular and colorful championship parkland course nestled between the Wicklow Mountains and the Irish Sea. Designed by Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock and opened in 1995, the course gained immediate international fame by hosting four consecutive Irish Opens. The layout is famous for its vibrant flora, dramatic water hazards, and its impeccable resort-standard conditioning, offering one of the most visually stunning rounds of golf in the country.
Did You Know? The site holds deep ancient significance, with several historic ruins and druidic markers integrated into the course layout. The 13th hole, for example, is played past an ancient stone altar, blending the modern luxury of a premier golf resort with the mystical and prehistoric heritage of the Wicklow landscape.
