Overview: Dream Park Country Club ~ Dream is one half of a 36-hole public golf complex in Incheon's Seo-gu, laid out on the restored site of a former landfill. The official operator identifies Dream and Park as separate 18-hole routes within an ecological golf facility, while Korea Golf Association rating material lists the Dream course at par 72. Published tee totals vary between regular rating records and tournament configurations, so no single yardage is stored here. The course's interest comes from the contrast between a broad, engineered landscape and the living systems that now occupy it: planting, wildflowers and reclaimed ground are part of the setting, not merely peripheral landscaping. Because the directory route is explicitly Dream, this profile does not blend in Park's scorecard or present the two nines as one course.
History: SLC records that the site was used as a landfill from 1992 to 2000, receiving roughly 65 million tons of waste before the ground was closed and redeveloped. Dream Park was then created as a public ecological and golf destination on top of the completed landfill, turning a former waste site into a large recreational landscape. The wider facility has since hosted major golf events and qualifying competitions, including golf at the 2014 Asian Games and later KLPGA, KPGA and US Women's Open qualifying events. The official sources reviewed do not name a course architect or state one opening year for the Dream route.
Did You Know? Dream Park is a rare example of a golf complex built over a completed landfill. The surrounding ecological park and wildflower areas are part of the site's restoration story, so the course is also a visible record of how reclaimed urban land can be given a new public use.
