Overview: Located in Drøbak, Norway, just south of Oslo, Drøbak Golfklubb is a highly scenic 18-hole parkland course. Winding through a gently rolling agricultural landscape bordered by mature forests, the layout features wide fairways, significant elevation changes, and beautifully contoured greens. The course offers a highly playable and strategic experience, requiring players to navigate rolling hills and numerous water hazards.
History: Opened in the 1990s, the course was built to establish a premier competitive venue in the Akershus county. The layout was carefully routed to fit organically into the undulating hillsides, minimizing artificial land alteration and preserving the natural water run-offs and local flora.
Did You Know? Because the course is situated near the historic coastal town of Drøbak on the Oslofjord, players are often subjected to shifting coastal winds that drastically alter the playing strategy and club selection on the exposed, elevated holes.
