Douglasdale Golf Club

Overview: Douglasdale Golf Club is the directory identity for EQ Calgary Douglasdale, an 18-hole Eagle Quest facility in southeast Calgary. The current operator places the course at 7 Douglas Wood Drive SE, while Chronogolf lists the routing at par 60 and 3,740 yards. It is a compact urban course rather than a full-length championship layout, making it a useful part of Calgary’s golf mix for players looking for a shorter round or a course that rewards accuracy and decision-making over sheer distance. The setting is woven into the Douglasdale community near the Bow River and its surrounding pathways.

History: The course now operates under the Eagle Quest Douglasdale name, with the current official location page presenting it as an active 18-hole site with a grass practice range, instruction, junior programs and the EQ Bar and Grill. That operating identity matters because the directory’s shorter “Douglasdale Golf Club” name can otherwise be mistaken for a separate facility. The published information supports a clear match: the same address, the same 18-hole routing and the same Calgary location. No unsupported designer or construction date is attached to the profile.

Did You Know? An 18-hole course with a par of 60 is a very different scoring proposition from a conventional par-70 or par-72 layout. At Douglasdale, the compact routing puts the emphasis on short-game execution and keeping a score moving across eighteen holes rather than on accumulating long par fives.
