Dongwon SunValley Country Club

Overview: Dongwon SunValley Country Club is an 18-hole golf property in Seowon-myeon, Hoengseong-gun, in South Korea's Gangwon region. Exact course records identify the facility as par 72 and categorize it as a parkland layout with semi-private access. The profile deliberately does not attach a yardage or named architect because the reviewed exact-property sources do not publish those details consistently. That restraint is important here: SunValley operates more than one golf destination, and several web pages place course information for the Yeoju property alongside the broader brand. This entry follows the directory's Hoengseong address and keeps the course identity separate from those other layouts.

History: Dongwon SunValley is presented as one of the named golf properties in the SunValley group, a Korean hospitality and leisure operator with several golf and resort destinations. Public records confirm the current 18-hole course identity at the Hoengseong site, but the sources reviewed for this batch do not give a reliable opening year or a documented design credit. Rather than import a date or architect from a different SunValley course, the historical account stays with what can be verified: this is the Hoengseong course in the Dongwon SunValley portfolio, not the separately documented Yeoju SunValley routing.

Did You Know? The SunValley name covers multiple golf properties, which makes the Hoengseong address especially useful as an identity marker. Keeping Dongwon SunValley tied to Seowon-myeon prevents its profile from inheriting the par, yardage or course details of another club in the same corporate portfolio.
