Overview: The Norman Course is one of Mission Hills Dongguan's more demanding championship routings. Greg Norman's layout measures 7,228 yards and plays to par 72, with narrow fairways, long native grasses and dense forest vegetation shaping the target from the tee. The front nine works across mountain ridges and hillsides, while the back nine settles into a series of valleys.
History: Norman belongs to the five-designer collection at the Dongguan clubhouse, alongside Annika Sorenstam, Jose Maria Olazabal, Justin Rose with Ian Poulter, and David Leadbetter. Mission Hills still includes the course in its 2026 event schedule. Mission Hills' public history does not assign an independent launch year to this routing, so no date is invented.
Did You Know? The course is designed around two different landforms. The first nine moves through higher ridges and slopes, while the inward nine lies in a greener valley setting. Norman's Australian Sandbelt influence is most visible in the native grasses and the strong bunker shaping.
